Flexit ProNordic S260R is a high-performance commercial air handling unit with a rotary heat exchanger, available in stock from Flexit. With a maximum airflow of 3 900 m³/h at 250 Pa and circular duct connections on the top of the unit, it covers ventilation for larger office buildings, schools, shopping centres, fitness centres and apartment buildings. Energy-efficient EC fans with radial wheels and the integrated Siemens Climatix CS2500 control system with Modbus TCP/IP or RTU communication ensure quiet operation and seamless integration into building management systems (BMS). Supplied as a right-hand unit, easily convertible to left-hand on site. The heating coil (electric or water) is installed as an accessory on site.

Robust construction without thermal bridges
Double-walled 50 mm panels without thermal bridges provide excellent insulation and prevent condensation on the casing. ePM1 55 % (F7) filtration on supply and extract air. Automatic bypass enables free cooling during transitional seasons.
Installation and servicing
ProNordic S260R is designed for floor-mounted indoor installation — plant room, mechanical room or ceiling void. The unit must be placed in a dry location protected from the weather.
All air connections are on the top of the unit as circular duct connections. Exact connection diameters are specified in the manufacturer’s technical documentation.
The unit can be supplied pre-configured (right- or left-hand, with electric or water heating coil) to project requirements — with a defined lead time. Stock version delivered without heating coil in right-hand configuration.
Automatic bypass provides free cooling during transitional seasons without manual intervention.
ProPanel and ProTouch — two control options
ProPanel is a standard push-button panel for basic operation and unit status overview. Suitable where simple control is sufficient.
ProTouch is a touch-screen panel with an application for local unit connection. Offers extended settings, parameter visualisation and alarm history. Both panels sold separately as accessories.
For BMS integration, communication via Modbus TCP/IP or RTU is used. The unit supports constant airflow regulation or 3 fixed speed levels.

ProNordic S260R vs S240R vs S220R — which model to choose?
ProNordic S260R (3 900 m³/h) and ProNordic S240R (3 100 m³/h) share identical dimensions (1 810×1 530×1 330 mm) and the same circular top duct connections. The S260R handles 26 % more airflow than S240R. Both are easily convertible from right- to left-hand.
For medium-sized spaces up to 2 400 m³/h, ProNordic S220R with rectangular 500×250 mm connection is the better choice.
For residential use in single-family homes, we recommend the Flexit Nordic range.
