Flexit ProNordic L230R is a high-capacity commercial air handling unit from the Norwegian ProNordic range — designed for larger office buildings, schools, retail centres, fitness facilities and apartment complexes. With a maximum airflow of up to 2 950 m³/h (at 250 Pa, SFP 2.0) and a circular side duct connection of Ø500 mm, it covers spaces with high ventilation demands while retaining the installation flexibility characteristic of the L-series. Powered by high-efficiency EC fans (2×750 W) and a rotary heat exchanger, the unit achieves annual heat recovery efficiency of >86 % at SFP 1.5. The Siemens Climatix CS2500 control system with Modbus communication ensures straightforward integration into building management systems (BMS). Supplied as a right-hand variant with 400 V configuration, easily convertible to left-hand and 230 V directly on site — making it impossible to order the wrong variant.

Siemens Climatix CS2500 control system
Integrated control system with constant airflow or 3-speed regulation. Modbus TCP/IP or RTU communication for connection to building management systems (BMS). ProPanel (push-button) or ProTouch (touch-screen display, Android) control panel available as an accessory. Optional BACnet IP module for extended integration into various BMS platforms.
Flexible design — impossible to order wrong
Supplied as a right-hand variant with 3N~400 V configuration. Conversion to left-hand and 230 V is done directly on site. The heating coil (electric 10 800 W or water-based) is installed on site. This flexibility eliminates the risk of ordering the wrong variant and saves costs when project changes occur. The unit is kept in stock at Flexit with standard lead times.

With an airflow of up to 2 950 m³/h, ProNordic L230R is ideal for ventilating larger office buildings, school campuses, shopping centres, fitness centres, hospitals and logistics facilities. The side connection Ø500 mm opens installation possibilities even where top duct connection is not feasible.
Robust construction — Nordic Swan Ecolabel
Double-walled panels with thermal insulation and no thermal bridges ensure excellent thermal efficiency. High-quality bag ePM1 55 % (F7) filtration on both supply and extract air captures fine dust and pollen. 5-year manufacturer warranty.
Easy installation and servicing
ProNordic L230R is designed with a focus on efficient installation and maintenance. All air connections are located on the side of the unit (circular connection Ø500 mm), enabling optimal duct connection even in rooms with limited ceiling height or overhead obstructions.
The unit can be disassembled into individual modules — rotor module (75 kg), fans (2×15 kg) and doors (4×17 kg) — reducing the net weight for transport to 177 kg. Overall dimensions of 1 830×1 430×1 335 mm require adequate access to the technical room.
Automatic bypass provides free cooling during transitional periods. Filter alarm based on pressure differential alerts when filter replacement is needed.
ProPanel and ProTouch — two control options
ProPanel is a standard push-button control panel for basic operation and unit status overview. Suitable where simple control without advanced settings is sufficient.
ProTouch is a Siemens touch-screen panel (Android) with an application for local connection to the unit. It offers extended settings, visualisation of operating parameters and alarm history. Both panels are supplied separately as accessories.
